The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) leads global efforts against money laundering, terrorist financing, and proliferation.

The FATF examines how money is laundered and how terrorism is funded, promotes global standards to mitigate risks, and assesses whether countries are taking effective measures.

The FATF recommendations ensure a coordinated global response to prevent organized crime, corruption, and terrorism. They assist authorities in tracing the funds of criminals involved in drug trafficking, human trafficking, and other crimes. The FATF continuously strengthens its global standards to address new risks, such as the regulation of virtual assets, which are spreading with the increasing popularity of cryptocurrencies.

The reports and recommendations of the FATF are available here.
