Child trafficking and child protection: ensuring that child protection Mechanisms Protect the Rights and meet the needs of child victims of human trafficking

Following the recommendations of the 17th Alliance against Trafficking in Persons Conference, this publication analyzes how the protection of child victims of trafficking should be addressed within broader child protection frameworks. In particular, it focuses on how state-run child protection agencies should make and implement decisions about comprehensive, secure and sustainable solutions in the best interests of a child victim of trafficking.
